About the artist- Ashlea Bechaz is a Melbourne-based freelance artist with a primary focus on inks, watercolours and gouache. Recently she has expanded into textile arts and wearables, yet her inspiration has remained across her portfolio which balances between lavishly detailed and alluringly colourful.
Bechaz enjoys walking the line between the beautiful and strange and often combines the two to draw you into unfamiliar worlds. She utilises this to draw the viewer into the obscure world she materialises, enjoying walking the line.
